Una de las tendencias para esta temporada es el estilo victoriano, llamado así por la Reina Victoria I de Inglaterra, reinado considerado el más próspero de su época.

One of the trends for this season is the Victorian style, named like this for the Queen Victoria I of England, reign was considered the most prosperous of it’s time.

Podemos ver este estilo desde lo más gótico hasta lo más romántico, y se caracteriza por tener pequeños volantes, moños al cuello, encajes, terciopelo, cuellos altos, mangas un poco abombadas y algunos accesorios como broches de metal.

Estas prendas suelen combinarse con otras mas simples de estilo minimalista, para que asi puedan resaltar todos los detalles y lucir modernas.

We can see this style from the most gothic to the most romantic, and is characterized for having small ruffles, bows around the neck, lace, velvet, high necks, Sleeves a little bulging, some accessories like metal clasps.

These clothing items are usually combined with others simpler like minimalist-style so, they can highlight all the details and look modern.

Para este outfit estoy usando un culotte super sencillo (que para mi esposo es un short gigante!!), un poco oversize y de un color super ad hoc con la temporada, le agregue esta blusa con estilo victoriano, la cual tengo desde hace varios años y por lo general siempre la uso con unos jeans, pero la combinación con este culotte me gustó mucho.

For this outfit I’m wearing a simple culotte (which for my husband is a giant short !!) a little bit oversize in a color ad hoc with this season, I added a blouse with Victorian style, which I have it for a long time, and I usually always wear it with jeans, but the combination with this culotte I really liked.

Combinar piezas mas estructuradas con otras muy simples funciona muy bien y hace que to look no se vea demasiado cargado, pero como sabes, esto no es regla, solo es una sugerencia.

Combining more structured pieces with very simple ones works very well and makes the outfit doesn’t look overcharged, but as you know, this is not a rule, it’s just a suggestion.
